PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets forth the terms and conditions applicable to the processing of the personal data of individuals who access, browse, register on and/or use the website www.live.aapolo.com (the “Site”) and the services and content offered through it (the “Service”). The Site and the Service are operated by the Argentine Polo Association. The Organizer is committed to protecting Users’ privacy and processing their personal data in accordance with Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326, Regulatory Decree No. 1558/2001, supplementary regulations and all other applicable legislation.

This Policy must be read together with the Site’s General Terms and Conditions of Use and Contracting.

Interpretation and Definitions

INTERPRETATION

Words whose initial letter is capitalized have the meanings defined below.

The following definitions shall have the same meaning whether they appear in the singular or plural.

DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf such individual accesses or uses the Service, as applicable.

- Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), You may be referred to as the Data Subject or User, as You are the individual using the Service.

- Company (referred to in this Policy as the “Company”, the “Organizer”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) means the Argentine Polo Association.

- For the purposes of the GDPR, the Company is the Data Controller.

- Application means the software program provided by the Company and accessed or downloaded by You on any electronic device in web format: live.aapolo.com

- Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with a party, where “control” means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interests or other securities entitled to vote for the election of directors or other managing authority.

- Account means a unique account created for You to access Our Service or parts of Our Service.

- Website means Polo Live, accessible at https://www.live.aapolo.com

- Service means the Application, the Website or both.

- Country means Argentina.

- Service Provider means any natural or legal person that processes data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals engaged by the Company to facilitate the Service, provide the Service on the Company’s behalf, perform services related to the Service or assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

- Service Providers are considered Data Processors.

- Third-Party Social Media Service means any website or social networking website through which a User may log in or create an Account to use the Service.

- Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

- Personal Data includes any information relating to You, such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier or one or more factors specific to Your physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

- Cookies are small files placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing details of Your browsing history on that website, among their many uses.

- Device means any device capable of accessing the Service, such as a computer, mobile phone or digital tablet.

This Policy applies to the Personal Data collected and processed by the Organizer when an individual:

b) registers as a User;

c) purchases a Ticket or subscription;

d) accesses Event Content;

e) communicates with the Organizer;

f) submits inquiries, requests or complaints; and/or

g) uses other Site features that involve the processing of Personal Data.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, platforms or services that may be linked to or integrated into the Site, which may have their own privacy policies.

Collection and Use of Your Personal Data

TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED

Personal Information

When You use Our Service, We may ask You to provide certain personally identifiable information that may be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

- Email address;

- First and last name;

- Usage Data;

- Data required to manage the Account;

- Information relating to the purchase or contract entered into; and

- Any other information the User chooses to provide that is necessary for the relevant purpose.

Transaction Information

When the User purchases a Ticket or subscription, We may collect information relating to the transaction, such as the type of access purchased, the date and time of the transaction, the amount, transaction status and any other information required to administer the purchase. Full credit card, debit card or other payment-method details may be processed directly by specialized payment service providers. The Organizer will neither access nor store such data where processing is handled entirely by the relevant provider.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when the Service is used.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of Our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique Device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service through a mobile Device, We may automatically collect certain information, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile Device You use, Your mobile Device’s unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile Device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browser You use, unique Device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Similarly, other Users may view descriptions of Your activity, communicate with You and view Your profile.

The Organizer will process Personal Data on the basis of one or more of the following circumstances, as applicable:

b) the need to process the data to manage a request, registration, purchase or provision of the Service;

The Company will retain Your Personal Data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

In accordance with Law No. 25,326, the Personal Data Subject may exercise, among others, the following rights:

- To request access to Your Personal Data. You have the right to access, update or delete the information We hold about You. Whenever possible, You may access, update or request deletion of Your Personal Data directly through Your Account settings. If You are unable to perform these actions Yourself, please contact Us for assistance. This right also allows You to receive a copy of the Personal Data We hold about You.

- To request correction of the Personal Data We hold about You. You have the right to have any incomplete or inaccurate information We hold about You corrected.

- To request deletion of Your Personal Data. You have the right to ask Us to delete or remove Your Personal Data where there is no valid reason for Us to continue processing it.

- To withdraw Your consent. You have the right to withdraw Your consent to the use of Your Personal Data. If You withdraw Your consent, We may be unable to provide You with access to certain specific features of the Service.

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise the rights provided under applicable legislation, the User may submit a request to aaplive@aapolo.com.

The request must contain sufficient information to identify the Data Subject and specify the right they wish to exercise. The Organizer may request additional information or reasonable identity-verification measures where necessary to prevent unauthorized access or changes. The Organizer will respond to requests within the time limits established by applicable regulations. The Agency for Access to Public Information is the enforcement authority for Law No. 25,326. The Personal Data Subject may file a complaint with that agency if they believe their rights have not been adequately addressed or that applicable regulations have been breached.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and know that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We will take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

We may also limit how We collect, use and store certain information relating to Users between the ages of 13 and 18. In some cases, this means that We will be unable to provide certain features of the Service to those Users.

If We need to rely on consent as the legal basis for processing their information and the relevant country requires parental consent, We may require the parent’s consent before collecting and using that information.

The Organizer may use analytics, measurement tools and similar technologies to understand how Users use the Site, identify technical issues, measure Service performance and improve the browsing experience. Where third-party tools involve processing Personal Data for additional purposes, such processing will be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and, where required, after obtaining the necessary consent.
